Innkeeper Solstice is a free-to-play fan game inspired by the web series, The Wandering Inn. In this game, you will play the role of a woman named Erin Solstice, who is a brand new innkeeper. You will need to cook different food, feed your guests, and build up your inn to handle larger crowds. Of course, this wouldn’t be easy as the world you live in is full of magic and monsters. If you haven’t read the web series, don’t worry. This simulation game contains no spoilers. 

Keep your inn running smoothly

As with any management games, you will begin with a small inn in playing Innkeeper Solstice. You will be starting with a small number of guests that you need to assist with. As noted, the game will include preparing meals and serving your customers. But before that, you will also need to collect the ingredients for the food that you will cook. With every satisfied guest, you can collect coins that you can use to buy items for your inn. There are 20 levels in the game and over 30 skills that you can gain. 

The game provides instructions as to how to play the game in the menu section. First-time players are highly encouraged to read them to play the game smoothly. The controls are easy enough to follow, as they mostly use mouse-clicks. Left-click allows you to interact with buttons while the right-click lets you split item stack in hand. Right-clicking the table lets you put down or pick up items. To move your character around, you can use the WASD keys. 

Innkeeper Solstice is a fan-made game, so expect a few issues when playing the game. There are a few glitches here and there, including floating items when gathering ingredients, and some items disappearing. However, the game is constantly updated, so these issues are being addressed. 

Fun-to-play fan game

Innkeeper Solstice is a fun game to play even if you are not a fan of the Wandering Inn web series. It has a simple mechanics fit for casual players. It also offers a leveling system that provides a challenge and breaks the otherwise repetitive gameplay. You may encounter a few issues, but it does not take the fun in playing the game.
